If a "Secret Avengers" movie about Team Cap roughing it in Eastern Europe was out of the question because of the tight film scheduling, then maybe they should have done a real quick Netflix mini-series, wherein just ONE adventure they have over there was covered between three-five 45 minute episodes.

I like it. I like the idea of a steaming show that covers "secret" territory in general.

Now, I'm not overly familiar with Steve Rogers' time as Nomad (that's from WAY before Marvel Civil War, I know), nor the Secret Avengers, unfortunately. Hey, closing in on a hundred years worth of material for each individual character and all that. What are some highlights Marvel-Netflix could have taken from that you know of?

I'd be down for that, but more than likely it'd go on Disney Play instead of Netflix.

I only said "Netflix" because that's still the term people immediately think of when discussing the MCU's streaming shows. Any suggestions for what the story should have been (aside from the subplot of them dodging the law).

It's not a bad idea actually.
I still would like to see a miniseries or one-shot exploring a post snap world.

Well I guess they could still show them helping out, only just avoiding close encounters with the authorities and sometimes taking them on when they have no choice. Perhaps also investigating the remnants of Hydra and separately or combining the foreshadowing of Thanos' arrival. Possibly either Scarlet Witch or Vision sensing something amiss, cant remember who is on whose team re civil war

It's an interesting idea, and would be neat, but it's just not realistic. You can do little side stories in comics, but to get the cast together and the effort it takes to go into production on something like that, just to fill in a relatively insignificant period of time, it's just not something they would have done. NOW, that being said, I am really curious what they have planned for these streaming shows, because we may get exactly that type of thing in the future, which would make disney streaming a must buy.

Hopefully, they can get the film and TV/streaming productions cooperating to make that kind of thing happen, though. Gad, I wish Perlmutter had been ousted altogether.

I think I would say, it's cool, as long as the events are important and they don't get carried away with it. Sometimes I think there is a point where less becomes more, and we don't necessarily need to know everything that went on in every gap, although some would certainly be awesome. What gaps would you have filled in so far in the MCU for instance?

I just realized there is an alternative to making all the Secret Avengers' actors show up to film a between-series during the "Phase 3" period: Animation. Like DC, Marvel has put out Direct-to-Video Animated films for years. If it'd be easier to just get Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, ScarJo, Elizabeth Olsen, and Jeremy Renner record some lines, I'd be all for it so long as the core MCU creative team was behind it. Any thought, hauntedknight87 @lorddeathman @bizarro?

Any thought, hauntedknight87 @lorddeathman @bizarro? They certainly could and that would be fine. I’ll admit I’m not really into the animation thing and a large portion of the audience won’t be but certainly it would be interesting, kind of like what they did for the animatrix. In fact if they did something like that in variety of styles I’d Be into it for sure.

Those are who interested would pick it up and those who aren't would pass, like with their Netflix shows and whatever's going to be on Disney+.
