Hey, Salzmark, this isn't a creepypasta, but it is a dang good crime thriller. It's about an hour long, so watch in as many chunks as you need and take as long as you need, but I'd love to know what you think about this one:

This is fun: someone has adapted one of my stories into an animated YouTube video (with my permission, of course). He actually posted it a couple months ago but just notified me now! Anyway, here it is:

Anyway, here it is: You lucky bastard. It’s kinda weird to read the comments because everyone’s praising the animator/narrator for the twist, and I’m thinking, “Hey, I’m the one wrote it!” Seriously, though, I’m delighted he decided to adapt it.

They're probably basing their perception on the common practice of narrators often tidying up stories to make them more palpable. A lot of creepypastas that are hailed as classics became so popular because they were "rescued in post" by an influential narrator deciding to clean up some of the grammar and maybe even word the twist better, sometimes even just cutting unnecessary lines. I don't remember the exact examples, but there have been any number of times when I've decided to read a 'pasta in its original written form after listening to a killer reading and been like "Wow, they really cleaned this story up for their narration." As an unfortunate result, the original authors get marginalized quite a bit, even in cases where the story didn't require any/much touching up.

Here are three clown horror stories I like. Especially the third beginning at around 6:20.

He's easily one of my favorite creations from the whole site! There's just something inherently ominous about that old Plague Doctor mask before you even get into what he does, which is beyond horrifying.

All of his videos are themed around a different location, job, or situation. Some of my other favorites are his food delivery driver one and the ones where he explores creepy internet videos.

He's usually very solid, I agree.
