This should be an episode! I would actually love to see a setting like this. Or any historical period really. Batman Ninja pulled about $3.5 mil in sales. I've not watched it but that was them trying to pull a feudal Japan story out of Batman. I like the concept of the historical characters but I hope the premise evades feeling forced. Marvel does seem to have a history to pull from there, while the Batman scenario seems to be a TMNT style portal to the past which gets a touch.... Well.... TMNT. |

Marvel 1872 was a great idea, but I don't need the same team of X-Men, just give me who was around at that time.
That's why I was really into the New Universe line when it first came out, or Northlanders. Now they didn't really do all that much with either series, but the settings were really cool to explore themselves.
