LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO "Todd is described as one of Jen's worst dating experiences, with Baywatch star Jon Bass playing the role in the series. As shared by Disney+ and described by Bass himself, Todd tries to pass himself off as a Tony Stark wannabe, but he usually comes across as "a total creep" as he pops up throughout the series: “Todd is a billionaire playboy philanthropist douchebag who wants more than anything to feel like Tony Stark, but comes off as Jon Bass. He is used to getting whatever he wants, but he’s a total creep who starts popping up everywhere.” Co-producer Wendy Jacobson shared how funny Bass is in the role, especially with him "playing this terrible person." While the character is "mostly harmless," the show highlights the idea of having someone in Jen's life who just keeps showing up at random places unexpectedly: “Jon Bass is so funny and he’s so good at playing this terrible person—it’s really fun to watch. The character of Todd plays on the social commentary of misogyny and incel culture and the unfair views of women. He’s annoying, but mostly harmless and it’s really about embodying these awkward interactions you have with someone when they keep showing up in your life over and over again.” thedirect.com/article/disney-tony-stark-she-hulk-show

Reactions to the series so far:
Marvel’s She-Hulk is a VERY funny legal procedural that’s lighter on action, but heavy on breaking the fourth wall. This is the most self-referential the MCU has ever been. Cameos & references galore + a dynamite Tatiana Maslany performance. Also, Tim Roth rules! It is the kind of show that acknowledges the ways people will trash it on Twitter right in the middle of an episode. It’s one of the more clever & accessible MCU shows. There’s a simplicity to it that that I love. Real sitcom vibes. It’s silly, but I think it mostly works. Also, an amusing theme of She-Hulk is that it very purposefully tries to be something an MCU fan would love. Cameos! Mid-credits scenes in every episode! It adds this extra muscle to ultimately win you over. Kinda like its main character does, too. - Erik Davis
She-Hulk is simply stellar. It starts off fast, really fast, but as it went on it grew on me, and is easily one of my favorite MCU shows. The setting is pretty grounded but it does a great job at establishing itself in the MCU in a way that’s both respectful to the MCU and more importantly makes sense as a story. Tatiana Maslany is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING in this show. The way she portrays Jen is simply to die for and I’m dying to see more. She-Hulk undoubtedly one of the best MCU shows to date, I can’t wait for you all to see it as well - Elijah Boxhill (FandomWire)
The show is breezy, unabashedly weird, and wildly entertaining. This sets a new gold standard for what MCU shows are capable of.. I knew from the second she was cast that Tatiana Maslany would be a perfect #SheHulk, but oh my god, she skyrocketed past my expectations. Her Jen is so authentic and mesmerizing, she’s easily one of the best things to happen to the MCU in recent memory. One of the many, many things I love about She-Hulk is Jessica Gao and team’s ability to expertly blend so many parts of Jen’s comic lore together. It’s so reverential, but also so inspired in its own way. I am in awe. - Jenna Anderson (Comicbook.com)
She-Hulk has hilarious, chaotic energy. It's one of the most entertaining 4-episode starts I've ever watched, straight up hilarious often, and sometimes a little too silly for me. It's pure fun. Jen Walters is awesome. Want more eps ASAP. It has a surprising amount of ties to the rest of the MCU past and future and some legendary credits scenes on every episode. It's very easy to get hooked on this show if you like fun. - Brandon Davis
She-Hulk perfectly brings Jennifer Walters' courtroom antics to Disney+. Tatiana Maslany is comedic gold, viewers are going to love her. The MCU feels super interconnected again with cameos and other info we get about the post-Endgame universe. Pamela Gores (TheDirect)
Having seen the first four episodes of #SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw I can tell you it's exactly what I hoped it would be. A completely new direction for the D+ series and the MCU. Is there an overarching Multiverse Saga? #SheHulk doesn't care. It exists to show is exactly how ridiculous the MCU is and it succeeds. By the time we get to the fourth episode, the show has fully hit its stride and is absolutely hilarious. I laughed out loud SO MANY times. Credit to Jessica Gao and the writers room for coming out swinging. And Tatiana Maslany is [pinched fingers emoji] in this. She's embraced and inhabited the role so completely. One of the all-time best MCU castings 💚💜. The first show in a long time where I've wanted to rewatch episodes multiple times. SMASH hit. - Charles Murphy
I got to see the first four episodes of #SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw, and I quite enjoyed them. It's nice to see a Marvel TV show paced like an actual TV show and not a long movie. They do some interesting things with the concept of #SheHulk and how she really doesn't want to be a hero. - Kaithlyn Booth (Bleeding Cool)

Variety: ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ Gives Tatiana Maslany a Deserving, Yet Dated Comedic Showcase
Collider (A): Tatiana Maslany leads a charming, funny, and thoughtful Marvel series
Hollywood Reporter: Disney+’s new Marvel series leans into silliness, for better and worse
TheWrap: The latest Marvel Disney+ series is a hilarious, grounded smash anchored by a winning and thoughtful performance from Tatiana Maslany
SlashFilm: Tatiana Maslany is a highlight in the otherwise clunky She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
DiscussingFilm (4/5): She-Hulk is a snappy & engaging courtroom comedy that will leave you wanting more each week.

Second episode I found to be better than the first, to be honest I think initial reception would have been better if it had been released first with just a few brief flashbacks to her origin. If Chris Gore from Film Threat is to be believed this series will stick to landing and more people will find themselves taking a better liking to this presentation of Jennifer Walters - keep in mind, he only saw the first four episodes.

The director Kat Coiro wants to bring in Jennifer Lopez to the MCU. Would be nice, but I am having trouble thinking of what part she would be good for. Some ideas that come to mind she will be too old for by the time they get around them, i.e. Lilandra.

For reference, Gore has disliked all the Phase Four shows to date but has liked what he has seen of She-Hulk as it has progressed, so we shall see. Well, he and I differ greatly in that regard. I ended up disliking how The Falcon and the Winter Soldier for how it handled its politics and I think the series mishandled John Walker completely. But Wandvision, Hawkeye, and Loki I did enjoy, and I was torn on how I felt about Miss Marvel. However, if this show has managed to win over someone that is very critical of the MCU show, that makes me hopeful.

I'm so bummed that this, along with WandaVision, is probably something I'm never going to get to watch (release it on DVD/Blu-ray, you bastards!). Just pay for a single month man and then cancel. Ill even read your tl;dr reviews
