Amazing how almost every milestone they've accomplished in terms of story-telling have come from their TV divisions since 1989, isn't it? It is. I think the mainline DCEU should move to premium TV/Streaming altogether honestly. You're probably right. Hmm... Bruce Timm's DCAU or Snyder's DCEU? Such a difficult decision. The CW's Arrowverse, or WB throwing things at a wall and seeing what sticks for the movies? Truly a conundrum.

It does suck that we didn't get Defenders season 2 or anything about the TV heroes dealing with the fallout of the snap. Yeah the TV side of Marvel would have been perfect for exploring the 5 year gap of the snap.

So aside from the Snap year gap, is there any other storyline from the comics that would be perfect for a big Marvel TV event?

Another storyline that would have been perfect for a big crossover event on TV is Civil War. Big missed opportunity for Marvel TV

Big missed opportunity for Marvel TV That was another thing the "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" staff had planned. I'm thinking it'd have been more heart-breaking for THAT Cap and Tony to come to blows considering how Avengers: EMH did a much better job of establishing their friendship.

Which is why I get the impression they probably not have him imprisoning, torturing, and brainwashing his fellow heroes. Or threatening Peter Parker's family when Pete starts to have second thoughts about the whole thing. Or make a homicidal clone of Thor that kills other superheroes. It'd have been interesting to see how an "Earth Mightiest Heroes" Civil War would have played out. Plus there would be the dynamic between Hank and Jan. Hank would probably be for it. But Jan... No freaking way.

No freaking way. The original Civil War should have never taken place in the mainline continuity. There were way too many instances of characters acting out of character in service to the plot. They should have either done some major plot changes and given it a different writer, or made it a "What If" mini-series. I'm sure that the EMH team would have done a much better job with it. It probably would have been somewhat similar to the Cadmus Arc in Justice League Unlimited.

The next season after would have probably seen most of the episodes splitting their time between the mainstream Avengers and the Secret Avengers, causing most of the individual stories to take place over multiple episodes even more than usual. I imagine the next season after that would have seen a reunification at some point.

Bare minimum, we should get a "Snap Era" Daredevil series. I am convinced that that was Foggy in Cap's group in Endgame. Wasnt Olivia Munn in there as well? She played a reporter in Iron Man 2 and I thought she was in that group as well.

Those big crossover events for their shows. I really wish Marvel TV got stuff like that. Oh, you don't have much longer to wait for that to come to Marvel.
