https://www.reddit.com/r/shield/comments/i8i7jn/agents_of_shield_finale_tribute_endgamestyled/ What I can’t figure out is, if AoS runs concurrent with the MCU movies, then why isn’t the mayhem in the movie stories evident in the TV episodes and vice versa. I’d think Nick Fury would have be referenced more than he is and both are at war with Hydra part of the time. And at what point did the agents depart the Earth-616-ish timeline and did they actually return to it? If so, where at on the movie timeline? There's been a ongoing debate about whether or so AOS is canon within the MCU or not. Yes the past seasons have tied themselves to the events from the films like the Hydra twist in Winter Soldier. But the films have pretty much ignored the show's, with the only exception being Agent Carter due to Jarvis cameo in Endgame. Plus we have the big elephant in the room which is the Snap and how it's still not even acknowledged in the show.

Plus Feige from what I can tell has barely even acknowledged it.

Plus we have the big elephant in the room which is the Snap and how it's still not even acknowledged in the show. I can see if the agents were away in the other timelines during the Thanos events, that would explain why they are unaware of it. Also, as much time travel they did, providing it was done within their original line, they would have alter the future course of history of the MCU movies somewhat. I guess we have to treat it like the comics. Events that happened in a previous series of comics, can be alter for the next series. This is why I'm such a fan of hardcore sci-fi. I enjoy Marvel, DC, etc, but movies like Ad Astra and Interstellar are they kind I like best. Anywho, I did enjoy the series...most of the time...even if the ending was for me a disappointment.

Who is everyone's favorite character?
For me it is Quake. She put the superhero in this superhero show. This whole show is really the entire story of a little known hero and they executed it brilliantly.

Hard to say. Each one has their own qualities. I ended up liking that guy from the 30’s a lot and Deke also

I am now speaking as a fan of the Arrowverse. I have seen every single episode of every single show in the Arrowverse and I have most of them on DVD. But I can confidently make the following statement.
Agents of SHIELD is far better than anything the Arrowverse has ever produced.
If you disagree with that statement please let me know and tell me why. No judgement whatsoever, I just want to hear any opinions that are out there.

This whole show is really the entire story of a little known hero and they executed it brilliantly. Much like the Avengers, everyone plays their role for me so no favorites. It’s an interesting set up because Coulson would seem to be the lead and yet the show is all about following Daisy for the longest time. But then it settles into a true team dynamic. Mack is the leader, May is crucial, Fitzsimmons have a huge arc, and people like Robbie become crucial for long spells. This show uses its entire cast as well as any show I’ve ever seen.

I'm like so far behind on Arrowverse that I can't even compare the two at this point.
I do wish that Marvel TV got to make similar big crossover episodes.

I think Shield was a great show, but I can make an argument for Arrow also. There were times in the first several seasons of shield that I enjoyed but it was not a show that I ever wanted to binge. With Arrow I went through a point where I was going through a season every 2 weeks because I was so hooked. So I won't say one show is better than the other, but when I can binge a show like that, that means I enjoyed it more.

Quake finally cracked my surface by the final season because she grew up. Also: The Koenigs Powers Booth’s Gideon Malik (brilliant actor) Mack “the Hammer” MacKenzie Daniel Sousa 🥰 As for the other recurring cast: I like the evil Leo Fitz better than good one because the character is more interesting. Deke is good comic relief. Lance and Bobbi sadly never had much to do except get in the way of the main cast.

Agents of SHIELD's Iain De Caestecker has revealed that he's not interested in playing Fitz in a future project: "I think I would say probably no. And not that I didn’t have a fantastic time doing it…I think, after everything that happened to those two characters [Fitz and Jemma Simmons], they really gave them a happy ending. And I think it would be so sad to mess with that again. It’s not fair … I’m not sure they would survive it this time. So I like the idea that they’re living a life of normality outside of the SHIELD." www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a40632831/agents-of-shield-iain-de-caestecker-wouldnt-return/
