Woll brought so much to Karen Page, they put her through a lot and she sold it so well on screen. Even the moments where it looked like they were trying to go SJW with the character she sold it as coming across as naturalistic and in-character without taking on the duty of being a role model.

I actually always thought it would have been cool if Ava showed up in a Spider-Man movie. I liked their interaction in the Ultimate Spider-Man series.
