So what are the chances that Karen and Foggy get killed off? Especially Karen since they'll probably fridge her. I think they will be safe. There was noticeable disappointment by people over them not being present in the first version of the show and irritation over the revelation that they wouldn't be alive during the events of the series. Marvel Studios isn't doing as hot as it used to, and definitely needs more consumer faith, and I think making the Netflix shows canon is an attempt to reclaim that trust, and to ensure that keep the characters they know are well-liked around. |

She is rumored to have a role in Spider-Man 4, at least the version Marvel Studios wants to do where it is basically a street level Civil War between NYC's street-level heroes. The story is also said to be a way to bring back Luke Cage. |

From what I understand, Sony wants another multiverse adventure to potentially make as much as No Way Home, but Marvel Studios wants a smaller scale movie since Peter Parker is now back to being a friendly neighborhood crime fighter who doesn't have to concern himself with Avengers business since they have forgotten he is Spider-Man because of the spell. |

Considering they already have SpiderVerse movies for that, they obviously don't mind having more than one current Spider-Man. It seems to me Sony could just make a Maguire and/or Garfield led Multiverse movie while MCU Spider-Man gets to do his thing at the street level. |
