With the imminent arrival of Wakanda's king to theaters, Vulture has put together a surprisingly informative piece about the writer who "weaponized" Black Panther for the modern age - Mr. Christopher Priest.
If you collect comic books than you probably know the name, but, not much more than that about this outspoken and yet elusive writer. I consider myself to be reasonably knowledgeable about his life and work and I found this article surprisingly insightful.
In all of the excitement, it's easy to forget the creators who made it possible for these characters to resonate as much as they do today.
It's a good read if you are interested in creators and have a little extra time in your day.
