I'm digging this series! I've enjoyed most of the other Marvel Netflix shows, but IMHO this one puts the others to shame. A much tighter storyline, and better characterizations than the others. I really like that this isn't full of elongated melee scenes, that gets old for me quickly. Up to episode 9 before I knew it.

I disliked it so much that I could even finish it. I thought it was boring. I do hear you about the melee scenes in other series though.

I liked to Jon Bernthal's portrayal of the character in season two of Daredevil. I was even fine with it in the five or six episodes but I watched of the show. I just don't like the show itself. It was boring.

I too dug it, but it still drags! 13 episodes is too much Netflix, fix it! Still the best punisher yet.

I think they stretch a 10 episode story into 13 on about all of them.

{Spoiler}why did billy russo turn on frank castle? the motivation seemed unclear to me. {Spoiler}It wasn't the clearest point was it?! I think they could have done better, but I think the scene with his own mother showed he was a nice looking facade to everyone, but behind that facade, he was ugly.
I think he looked like a great guy on the outside, but deep down, he was the real "Billy the Kid" vs. the one he said he was. Trying to look like a hero serving others, but he's really the worst of the worst. The kind that will ultimately chose what's best for him if he thinks it will get him ahead, even murder his best friend and his family.
So he sided with agent Orange when he thought it would get him that fancy car and security business and that elevated social position rubbing elbows with Senators, heads of the CIA and Homeland Security. And it worked. JMHO.

Eight tight, face-paced episodes that got the job done. I understand the standalone shows need a couple of more episodes for character/world building, but I think they should cap it off at 10 episodes a season.

These shows have an issue with dragging off into filler episodes. Its sometimes like an RPG where you start on the main quest and ended up doing multiple side quest.

I liked The Punisher and i wish Marvel Studios would give us a Punisher movie. Me, too! If Marvel was smart, and they usually are when it comes to the MCU, they would do a series of R-rated films using the legendary comic books runs written by Garth Ennis. That man knows The Punisher.
