Just found this post:
I've been doing a Marvel AU for almost 2 years now and I've had artwork done for it. If any of you want to see the story art, just say so and I'll put it up here.

I love writing but have been blocked off and on for years. It sucks. I suggest Ex-Lax.

We made Magneto into a Superhero here and that guy below is Titanium Man, the American counterpart to Iron Man...because here Dr Doom is Iron Man.

I once wrote a Sestina, a particular frustrating form of poetry, for a class:
Looping Path
Walking the looping path around Foxhole Bluff is an interesting little stroll,
For it is a long stretch around an oval mound that connects many places,
Leaving from the south side will take you past the river into town,
But going west will take you to the city past the woods,
North heads on to the tourist camping grounds,
And east heads out to the farms where you can see corn growing in the fields.
Due east, can you see Old Tillerman’s scarecrows guarding his fields,
This is just the start, getting past the cornfields is more than just a stroll,
Out here you won’t find many interesting stomping grounds,
Its many miles to Fenterville, which ain’t the most happening of places,
Either, but you’d honestly have a more exciting time in the wild Fenter Woods,
So remote and untamed despite sharing a name with that town.
Heading north will also take you far ‘way from any city or town,
Out there in the camp sites it’s all hills trees, and even some open fields,
And you needn’t worry about wild animals there, they got rangers all over those woods,
So, it’s a place you can just take a leisurely stroll,
With winding paths leading to all the sites coming to many places,
It’s rather pleasant up at those tourist camping grounds.
Don’t go west on foot, it may go to the city but the woods are wild, no watch towers or camp grounds,
There aren’t even any side roads on the way you can take another town,
So just stay on the main path, else you’ll end up in mighty unfriendly places,
It’s all winding paths and animal trails, but no open fields,
If you want to get to the city on foot, it’s a commitment, not a stroll,
So, like I said, stay on the main path ‘til you get to the city past the woods.
Going south, will take ya past the river to town, and for once no woods,
Instead, you’ll see grassy lands, bus stops, train tracks, and even child’s playgrounds,
All in all, this is much more pleasant stroll,
Than west or east, with no fear of getting lost, just follow the river to town,
You’ll spy a farm or two, even in the distance see their fields,
So, relax, you’re not likely to end up in any trouble around them places.
Oh, to the top of Foxhole Bluff to look down on these places,
West you won’t see the city, just the woods,
And east just some tiny farm houses, barns, tractors, and corn fields,
Looking North you could spy some of the trailers and tents at the camp grounds,
Well, you can see the river to the south, but probably not the town,
But it’s the trek up the bluff that’s more exhausting than an evening stroll.
The area ‘round Foxhole Bluff is peppered with such places, as rivers, farms, and stomping grounds,
It’ll take where you prefer whether it be the woods or a distance away into town,
You can always go for a stroll that’ll take you over and through coppices and fields.

@ghostackbar has a plan for an MCU musical going on at 2.0, for which I’ve now written two little pieces… I’m particularly fond of his “Mrs. Robinson”-esque “ Please, Mr. Iron Man,” though.

Not sure where to put this, but… Anyone tried to write superhero fiction, whether in prose or comic-book form? I took ages to write a Batman story for v2.0, intended for Hallowe’en, that I never finished, but I hope to have it finished one day (y’hear me, Morpho Man!). I wrote some comments about writing for superheroes that I don’t know if anyone here is interested in: it includes both Marvel and DC.

I started writing an element-based superheroine story ages back, but I never finished it. I ended up making the story too big and epic for that early stage and got overwhelmed. Word of advice: never begin with a story based around the idea of Superhuman Registration.

Wrote a bunch of really short stuff recently for Reddit, the first few for NoSleep and the last based on a writing prompt:
And finally a non-horror piece based on this prompt:

Reading Watchmen reminded me of this old concept of mine. I’ll probably never write it up, so here goes:
