A new showrunner is by far the best news about Iron Fist season two.

I liked Iron Fist. It had some good villains too. Harold and Bakuto, that is

Well, i'm looking forward to season 2. Sure, the first one was my least favorite out of the Netflix shows, but that doesn't mean it's bad. it was just a bit boring, but there are plenty of things to like about it

Specially in Luke Cage.

Luke Cage the second half almost felt like a different show altogether.

It keeps me from gobbling up the premium content of the series too fast. I know people's time is short and valuable these days but, honestly speaking, it's not like you'd go back and rewatch the whole thing again. That's where filler starts to become annoying to me. When I'm seeing it for the first time, it's only a minor nuisance.

I understand what you are saying, like stretch out that feeling of watching something you like, but I'd still prefer a more streamlined story.

Episode stuffing is a frequent complaint of the Netflix shows, I just wanted to bring another perspective to the debate. If it meant getting more, high quality shows faster, I'd be more than happy to see them reduce the overall episode count.

I enjoyed the first season and I fully expect to enjoy the second. Yeah, me, too. I really don't get all the online griping about this show. Sure, it's far from perfect, most shows are, but I found it highly entertaining and I thought Finn Jones did a credible job. I do agree that most of these Netflix series would be better served with an 8-10 episode season. Definitely felt some padding, especially in Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

I thought it picked up steam as it went along, and the second half of the season was pretty good. I think they need to write Danny Rand a helluva lot better though, as Colleen, Joy, and Ward were all far more interesting characters.
