Last night's episode was really interesting. This is a different kind of superhero show. I thoroughly enjoyed the finale. My only real problem with the show now is Cloak's janky Cloak. Any other problems I have with the show are related to its pandering to the target demo (which I don't feel is aggressive at all). |

I know they're meant to appeal to teenagers who follow contemporary music trends (and seem to be perpetually love-struck) but, it's a little annoying. It's not enough to ruin the show but, it does slow the momentum of the narrative down considerably when we have to sit through the obligatory musical montage. |

I've actually liked some of the musical interludes but they can be overdone. It's far from a big deal. It's just that some of the montages feel like ads for the songs or mini music videos. |

I watched the season finale last night. It was excellent. I'm definitely looking forward to next season. Olivia Holt is awesome.
Also, last night Freeform showed the first episode of Runaways. I guess they are trying to get people to check it out on Hulu. I've never seen it because I don't have Hulu. I didn't think very much of it. Certainly not going to buy Hulu just to watch it. If it gets transferred over to Disney's new streaming service someday I might give the rest of the show a try.
