ABC is looking to bolster its Marvel lineup.
The Disney-owned network has handed out a sizable production commitment to a top-secret drama featuring female superheroes from Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg.
In typical Marvel fashion, details about the premise are being kept under wraps, though it is expected to focus on lesser-known characters in the comic book giant's library.
Heinberg will pen the script and executive produce alongside Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb. The deal expands the scribe's relationship with ABC, where he served as showrunner for two seasons on the network's Shondaland drama The Catch.
