Yeah Ive finished it. It becomes better after the first 3 eps, first ep has a weird start. Overall it's ok, first season is still better. Villain is underwhelming. Billy Russo has some great parts but also some bad parts (writing, actor is awesome). Frank as usual was greatly depicted by his actor. Action was good, although one scene was questionable. 2 new additions were so-so, excluding villain. They kinda dropped the ball with the writing this season.
Curious about others' thoughts

I'm only 3 episodes in so far. The action and fight scenes have been good so far. Not sure how I feel about pilgrim yet.

I’ve got to get started on it this week. Punisher was my favorite Netflix season.

Did anyone catch the scratched out HYDRA symbol on one car towards the end of episode nine? In the area the trailer is in.

So how far are you guys? I'm currently on episode 10.
So far this season has a weaker story compared to season 1.

Am on episode 11, yeah...The storyline isn't as engaging as the first season, this could've easily been condensed to ten episodes at most or eight at least, a lot of filler going on but the Jigsaw stuff is great - Ben Barnes' performance is so good you almost forget that Jigsaw still looks pretty clean than he SHOULD be(which is absolutely hideous).

I feel like Jigsaw was wasted as a villain. The pilgrim story was "meh" and this season would have been better if they didn't try and cram two story lines together.
The action was definitely the saving grace of this season and that ending was such fan service and I loved every second of that frame.
I want a season 3, but sadly I doubt we'll get one.

I finally finished the season.
Overall, very good. The action (which is the most important part) was top notch. The acting and the whole cast was great. The story was a little weak and muddled, at some points I didn't even bother trying to follow it. There were some excellent and emotional scenes.
The final scene was stand-up an applaud fantastic!

So I only recently started this season, I'm not quite done, so please don't spoil the ending.
Interesting plot structure that I both appreciate and find confusing a little in a way that I'm curious how it's going to play out.
So in the first season there were a couple of independent plot threads that wove more and more tightly together as the season went on, almost like spinning an object supported by multiple strings until the strings all wind together.
But this season has two seemingly completely unrelated main plots it bounced back and forth to. The part I appreciate about that is that life isn't some all connected story. You might be worried about losing your job, and about your grandma falling down in her home. The two things have nothing to do with each other, but they are in fact both happening to you, and that's fine to tell a story like that imo. Depending on how this season plays out, I'm curious just from a pure storytelling perspective though if it's going to feel like and if it was supposed to feel like you/they couldn't decide which story was more important, or if that even matters. Maybe they are both equally important. Maybe one ends up informing the other. Maybe the point is that you're in this position of not knowing what's going to hit first or hardest just like Frank is. Frankly speaking, I'm on pins and needles wondering how this is going to play out and if that's the goal of having multiple major threats, then they've nailed it.
BTW, the action in this is brutal AF, and I love it
