Might as well just do a movie now if you’re gonna scrap everything you filmed.

Might as well just do a movie now if you’re gonna scrap everything you filmed. And now whatever they end up releasing also inherits having to pay off everything they spent on the first attempt. Like I said in another topic recently, how could they begin production on something without having a concept they are comfortable with locked down and ready to go before even starting?

Sounds like a shitfest. Two characters people enjoyed unceremoniously killed offscreen and the Big Bad being on the side of law enforcement to further Marvel's anti-cop stance.

It’s pretty wild, yeah. I was just reading about how they did all of these shows without show runners and thought they could handle them like they do with movies. They just don’t know how to do tv and honestly I wish they hadn’t tried to.

So they just ignored standard showrunning practices? Wha...? Honestly that explains a lot. Especially Secret Invasion. So they're willing to copy the Snyderverse's homework to make expensive reshoots to basically remake whole movies, but not the Arrowverse? Like, it did start to slowly fall apart, but it also managed to last a whole decade being run the way people run TV shows.

I guess the new rules of the strike will change that going forward.

Getting rid of Foggy and Karen like that off-screen is just so...Wrong, for so many reasons. The actors they cast were great and had fantastic chemistry with Cox.

The DD revival series with a new creative team was always a mistake in my opinion because fans of the original were always going to be put off when the tone wasn’t exactly the same as the old series. And they were gonna kill off beloved characters to boot! A big mistake not just rebooting. This is a no win choice.
