I assume the budget they had was pretty low if the only big actors they could afford were Josh Hutcherson. and Matthew Lillard. I was kinda worried that maybe the budget was TOO low, but I mean the animatronics don’t have to look great either. They’re supposed to be old and broken down so maybe the low budget thing will work for it and not against it. The thing to remember about FNAF is that the scale is always very small and personal. Most of the movie will take place in a small, rundown diner. Even the parody musicals by the YouTube group Random Encounters, which starred Markiplier pulled off creating convincing interior sets on a small budget. You know why I think I expected the budget to be higher? Is cause FNAF has novels, dolls a list of video games and tons of merchandise. |

The trailer has leaked and I must admit what I could see The animatronics look FANTASTIC!! It appears to be based on only the first game as far as I can tell. Would post a link, but do not want link to get taken down.

But if the majority of the people liked the trailer where is the issue? I’ve never seen any comments saying they didn’t like the trailer. If they are that upset then just release the trailer for real. It was a great trailer!!! |

It doesn't look too bad. Here's hoping it turns out to he a good film, especially for fans of the game.
Like I said before, there's a lot riding with this film since Blumehouse is making a Dead By Daylight.

Willy's Wonderland was already a FNAF movie basically and as a result, this just feels like it arrived too late. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this gets the Slender Man treatment where it gets criticized for being outdated for being made long after the trend had died down.
For what it's worth though, the animatronics look decent.
