So apparently Blumehouse is producing a film adaptation of the game and recently Jason Blume hinted that Jim Henson's Creature Shop is involved with the film.

I wonder if this one will actually get finished, since this film has had a few false starts already.

Oh like what they should have done instead of that Nicolas Cage movie?

I've only played the game for a little bit. It was fun but it wasn't something that made me want to go back to with the sequels.
That being said I think it's cool that Jim Henson's Creature shop is working on the film's animatronics.

Ok so what bothers me about this new director is apparently she’s only done ONE movie and now gets to do a FNAF movie? While Chris Columbus wouldn’t have been my first choice either at least he’s done some successful movies.
Also FNAF can make a GREAT movie because there’s so much lore behind it, but seeing that they got a director who no one has ever heard of who probably knows next to nothing about the games or lore this movie will most likely fail.

David Sandberg who made Annabelle: Creation and Shazam didn't exactly have a long resume to his name, either. Let's not write her off just yet.

Huh ok. Now the movie has me curious. Oh wait…Lillard was in Wing Commander. Ugh that has me worried. I know it wasn’t his fault that WC was bad, but he did agree to be in it. Wait he was in IN the name of the King as well? Fuck!

This is like complaining about Sean Connery being in The Hunt for Red October because he was in Zardoz. And Mathew Lillard is a very talented actor and nice person. Every actor has bad movies they were in, so I don't know why you're holding some of his past work against him.

Honestly it bothers me so much Wing Commander wasn’t better. Honestly the cast was decent and I personally find it a guilty pleasure, but I know i’m in the minority with that movie. In The Name Of The King was a waste of everyone’s talent. I felt bad for EVERYONE in that movie especially Reynolds. I mean look at Jovovich. She was in Resident Evil and Monster Hunter and both were shit.
