I would say looking back on the Netflix shows its nice to think that most of them ended in such ways that they could easily 'pick up' from where they left off and transition in roles and situations which seamlessly fit into the larger MCU when the time comes - Matt's back as Daredevil and he, Foggy, and Karen have their firm up and running again. Jessica decides to still be a detective in NYC knowing something is out there via Killgrave's voice. Luke becoming the King of Harlem basically and its enforcer. Frank still wanting to continue his war on crime on his own terms. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Iron Fist, ended on a cliffhanger... I really want them to return and Charlie Cox has mentioned before that he's contracted for a film appearance. Hopefully Feige keeps them, hell I'll be fine with him soft rebooting with the same actors. Me too, they were all well cast in their roles. There's a chance they all can come back, according to a Q+A thread on Reddit from last summer with somebody claiming to have worked on the inside both Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal are totally game to return as Daredevil and The Punisher regardless of the production and even rating. Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Jessica Henwick though would be open to reprise their characters if for Kevin Feige - because they didn't like working under Jeph Loeb who altered contracts, scheduling, story directions, etc. on the fly without much notice due largely to the friction between Marvel Studios and Marvel Television. This is not confirmed, but an interview for The Defenders with Ritter and Colter does give weight to the idea - in it they are quizzed about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Thanos and Infinity War and they answer all questions with what seems to be 'playful ignorance'. In that they intentionally played oblivious out of annoyance to Loeb and how much their contracts changed as these characters, and that the saying "It's all connected" had much less meaning then and there. You could tell both were upset by the friction within the House of Ideas, because obviously both of them know who Thanos is and how to pronounce his name(they act like they don't in the video) from the many conventions they've gone to and asked about Infinity War and Endgame. Ritter also hushed everyone thinking some kind of crossover between the Netflix shows and Agents of SHIELD was imminent from a photoshoot for a magazine that had been revealed around the time revealing it was all photoshopped. I think Feige had actually intended to have all the characters from TV and film there in Infinity War and Endgame but the divide with Perlmutter tore down the concept and Marvel TV just went into a different direction than intended. Course now Feige is in charge of Marvel's TV division as every new show will be from Marvel Studios and play directly into the movies.

THIS is exactly why I've been saying there's no real need to reboot them if they're used in the MCU. The basic origin is already there. All they would have to do is start telling any story they want to.
Regarding Iron Fist, if they use him, I say they just jump straight into the immortal tournament or something and not worry about how he leveled up.
Exactly. The pieces can easily be picked up without stepping on any feet(in this case Netflix). Your idea for Iron Fist works great, too.
