I wonder how much Jeph Loeb will go for. I don't know but, it certainly seems as if he were an expensive prop.

I don’t think they have to be rebooted. They can be sequeled even if that involves recasting. Personally I don’t think they have any near term plans to use these characters anyway so I’d just put them on the back burner for awhile.

Rumor has it that Daredevil will be rebooted soon for the big screen without any connection to the Netflix show.

I suspect they’ll produce an already established hero without a full on origin at which point, isn’t it just a sequel?

These jokers managed to predict Blade for phase five.

I would just lean towards the side of (make an experienced Daredevil movie, skip the origin for the most part, he's just a total bad ass at this point, and you don't have to mention the show at all, but it could easily be viewed as just the early days of the character. Recast all you want and it's cool)

All you'd have to do is make a movie about an established Daredevil. If you don't do anything that directly and unavoidably contradicts the show, then for all practical purposes it remains canon, even if you recast.

I'd hate to lose Vincent and Charlie. But I guess at the very least we'll get a good Iron Fist now.

Yeah, but doing that doesn't send a message to Perlmutter.
